It was an eleventh-hour request. The yearbook deadline comes more quickly than we all realize. So much to fit in at the beginning of the school year. Whitney wanted something on the water, so we made use of late-day sun, low tide, and Casco Bay in the background. Most of the images feature additional portrait lighting balanced with the ambient light. I was inspired by her eyes and sculpted cheek bones. Love the blowing hair images! She was game for all my posing requests. We climbed rocks, snuck through low-tide mud and seaweed, and hiked a woody trail.
